Faceplate Width: 5/8 inch (16mm)

Lock Backset: 1.77 (45mm)

Gear Type: Gear with partial extensions - No shootbolts attached

8778443 can both be used for 20mm & 25mm Shootbolt throws for 3 piece systems

SPECIAL NOTE: Older Gears couldn't mix 20mm & 25mm parts; The 25mm gear is set to throw a certain distance, so the bottom shootbolt won't extend all the way if a 20mm is on top.

Related Parts:

8787583 - Bottom Extension to achieve 36 inch (914mm) handle height

2875118 - Cover plate for connections

8785695 - 35mm wood door Installation screws, stainless steel 8mm head

NO LATCH HOLE for Spring Latch:

The metal flat bar travels about 1" - With the Bolt locked, the bar travels up

When unlocked it travels down toward the Deadbolt about 1"

It would appear the maximum depth to cut for a latch would be the thickness of the metal faceplate 1/16". Therefore, This lock requires an astragal between door panels.
