P3000 Replacement Spring Latch Gearbox / Lock Case 45/92
The P3000 has 2 gearboxes, one for the deadbolt (Upper) and one for the Spring Latch (Lower)
Sometimes referred to as a Babysitter lock, as the deadbolt works without engaging the upper or lower shoot bolts. This makes it easier for individuals who are not familiar with Multipoint locks to lock and unlock the door.
Specifications:
Lock Case only for Spring Latch
Backset: 1-3/4 inch (45mm)
Markings / Sticker: AHP45LT-100DT Spring latch, AHP45DB-100DT Deadbolt box
To Change Handing / Latch Reversal:
1. Extend the Deadbolt and pull the spring latch out
2. Rotate to the correct position
3. Check the function of the lock before closing the door
How To Operate P3000 Lock - This is a different design than most Multipoint Locks
1. To Lock the Door: Throw the deadbolt, then lift the handle to engage the Auxiliary locks
2. To Unlock Door: Retract the deadbolt and push the lever down to open
