IMPORTANT NOTE:
The screws are tri-lobular (self tappers) and are designed to cut their own threads in the lug on the handle set plates as they are screwed together.
The lug doesn't have a thread cut into it from the factory, the screw cuts the thread as it is tightened. This can help with slight misalignment issues. (see image 4)
